Patisserie Making

I had this mostly finished just as kilala97 's contest was announced - then I figured I might as well finish it and start something else for my entry (this one doesn't include any of the original next gen - these are nextnext gen haha....)

So Creme/Del is my favourite Next Gen pairing and I was stoked to see how adorable their child would be. Then Fletcher came along and I instantly shipped him and Star because driven/awesome parents make epic shipping and Kilala made a child for them too.
INSTANT HEADCANON FRIENDSHIP.

Because Hlín had breathing problems, I like to think that Starburst and Fletcher decided to have her play with Fraise as a foal - since Star and Del remained close friends, and Fraise was such a sweetheart, so would be a good influence on the increasingly rebellious young Hlín.
Having two highly ambitious and focused parents, both members of the royal guard and pretty amazing at what they do, but being unable to follow in their hoofsteps left Hlín trying to sneak out and show them that she was just as capable as anypony else, but it ultimately led to her feeling weak and breathless more often and Star and Fletcher decided a good, stable friendship was what she needed (FRIENDSHIP SOLVES EVERYTHING, K?) Star would see Fraise whenever she visited the farm (Creme having moved there) and started to encourage them to spend time together. Fraise took an instant liking to the quiet mare and they pretty much just grew closer as friends from then. Now they're almost sisters they're that close, with just a look being able to communicate whole sentences between them, and Hlín becoming the official taste tester of Fraise's new patisserie creations (which she usually makes with apples, duh).

Also Fraise speaks with a mixture of southern-y accent and Canterlot finery - sometimes one, sometimes the other. Having been taught to speak by both her mother and father - tooootally different accents.

Fraise: Ooookay, one more slice of apple and it's finished.

Hlín: You're sure this time? Because last time you said that you ended up covering the whole cake in apple. 

Fraise: It was an apple cake. Totally allowed

Hlín: Cherry

Fraise: Hm?

Hlín: It started as a cherry cake. It became an apple cake.

Fraise: Oh shush you, Ah knew what I was doing

Hlín: *Rolls eyes but smiles*

Fraise: *Concentrates as the apple is placed*

Hlín: Actually, that last slice made it. That looks amazing!

Fraise: Oh, Ah don't know... Maybe one more? .... Ah'm kidding! Don't give me that look *laughs* You know that if it meets with your approval Ah'm quite satisfied.

Hlín: Honestly though, they've been looking better and better recently. You should really think about going into catering like your dad.

Fraise: Thank you so much, really, but Ah'm not sure they'll ever be good enough for ponies to want to buy. Ah just like to make them for the two of us, and our parents. They need to be perfect before they could even be worth anythin', and they can always be better.

Hlín: Hey, I've been your official taster since we were fillies, and I know you've not just got a talent for doing this stuff, you've worked hard at it! Don't always try and push yourself so hard over something you're already so good at Fray, you can get better in time with experience - it just takes time. Honestly, you should get out there and show all of Equestria your special cakes!

Fraise: ..... *Smiles warmly* Only if you come with me.
